Planning your IT
So you have decided to see the famous Coron, what to do next? Plan for at least 4 days.
If you are the young and energetic kind trying to see every place follow this IT:
1 day island hopping in Coron island/bay (CYC, banol beach, barracuda lake, twin lagoon, kayangan lake, 7 pecados),
1 day Malcapuya, Banana island, Malaruyroy,
1 day Calawit leg and fly out on the 4th day.
Spend at least 1 early evening in Makinit hot spring and a sunrise on Mt Tapyas.
If you want a more relaxed holiday, then split the Coron island hopping into 2 days.
If you are a small group it is better to join tour groups to save on cost of boat and van rentals but if you are 6 or more it will be affordable to rent your own boats. We will assist you of course.
Check the Pinoy exchange Coron Sublime Forum or Virtual tourist Palawan forum for more infos or to connect with other tourists.
Coron is one of the safest places in the Philippines. There are very rare violent crimes and petty crimes.
Far from terrorists due to its distance from anywhere (about 8 hrs from the nearest neighbors: El Nido in the south and Mindoro in the north).
